“Kamouaa” is the most important forest of Lebanon. It lies from the “valley of Gehanam” to “Kobayat”
and from “Fnaydek to the “Nassarahs of Koubayat” region. This forest has more than 10 million trees of
fifty different species, the most important of these are the junipers, cedars, and Cilician firs.
On Sunday the 24th of February 2008, Blue Carrot Adventure Club organized a snowshoeing trip to this
magnificent part of Lebanon, the “Kamouaa Forest”.
