Al Assi River, also known as “Orontes”, forms part of the border between Lebanon and Syria and between 
Syria and Turkey. It rises near the city of “Baalbek”, Lebanon, and flows in a northerly direction between 
the Lebanon and Anti-Lebanon mountains into Syria, where it has been dammed to form “Homs” lake.

For Sunday the 14th of June, Blue Carrot Adventures is organizing a WHITE WATER RAFTING excursion to 
Al Assi River.

We will meet near “Sagesse School” “Achrafieh” at 7:00AM. 

At arrival, we will be briefed by the raft instructors, you will engage in a ride through breathtaking scenery. 
Each person will receive a life jacket, a helmet, and paddles. Remember however to bring a bathing suit 
and a towel. You WILL get wet!

Our rafting descent will be of around 4 km. 


The price of this excursion is $ 55 including: 

1.	Transportation by Pullman to/from Al Assi.
2.	Touristic tour rafting descent 
3.	Rafting equipment

LUNCH WILL BE OPTIONAL FOR AN ADDITIONAL $ 20. 

(Upon registration, you should specify if you want to include lunch or not). Menu: different species of 
grilled “truit” or Machawi, mutabal,Homos, Fatoush, traditional salad, French Fries, Soft drink, water and 
desert  of the day.

ALCOHOLIC DRINKS ARE NOT INCLUDED BUT ARE AVAILABLE ON SITE.
